Learning through Nature

Recently we have been experimenting with the use of natural resources within our art and play spaces. Here we can see Belen and her dad participating in our flower printing experience. We displayed native flowers to inspire the children and used a paint pallet to demonstrate how to mix colours. The children painted various representations onto the tiles and we now have a plethora of floral prints!

Here we can see Charlotte has carefully painted the nettles of the bottle brush and is beginning another flower.

Our fairy garden is coming along; we have used fake grass, wooden fencing, a bird house, glass pebbles and mini flower pots. Currently we have a family of wooden dolls who inhabit this space, a parent kindly made them for us.
